Allergies, which are reaction of our any body part to the substances that we assume that they might not be harmful. Here our immune system comes to picture and try’s to guard our body but if we are to strong from inside or are immune to allergies we will start sneezing.

Symptoms of allergies are sneezing, watery eyes, runny nose, congestion, rashes on skin, blisters and swelling. Hay fever is also a form of allergy, which happens from some allergens and lead to nose inflammation, sneezing etc. Eczema is also due to allergy and a type of dermatitis.

Causes of allergies might be perfumes, chemicals, food, cow products, reactions to drugs, detergents, and grass, additives, preservatives, egg, fish, pollens, dust, pollution, some deficiencies, soap and many more substances that don’t suit to particular body. Dust mites and mold can also cause allergies. Stress can also cause allergy.

Allergy has lot of faces and can come in any form and from any substance. Anaphylactic shock, which is a very serious form of allergic reaction, can even kill a person with suffocation, what happens is larynx swells up and airway through which we breath gets obstructed and we can’t breath properly. Its main causes might be intake of some allergic foods that might not suit particular person, insect bites, swallowing or injecting medicine. Medical treatment in this case is necessary.

Aromatherapy for Allergies

Aromatherapy is very useful treatment for allergies. Like we talk about that very less is known about allergies but as it is a skin problem, natural therapies are more effective way cause they come in direct contact with infections.

Essential oils such as Chamomile, Lavender, Geranium, Tea Tree, Lemon, Myrrh, Ylang Ylang, and Melissa have produce quite favorable results to relieve allergy. But essential oils must be used carefully and one should understand which oil suits which allergy.

Essential oil should be mixed with carrier oil before massage the sinus area. Inhalation with few drops of essential oil on handkerchief, inhale the vapor. For some less skin rashes or irritations one can use oil as a direct apply mixed with carrier oils. Bathing and massaging with some drop of essential oil can make one relax and stress free.
