Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

Some time, Chronic Fatigue Disorder is mistaken for common ailments because of the symptoms resembling very much of flu or any other viral infections. However, it is an acute fatigue, which come and goes but can also stay for long time, a baffling Illness.. The person suffering does not want to do anything, tires very easily and mind you, it cannot be over with some good night sleeps. The person feels he has lost his whole energy. However, the bad part is that still we do not know the exact cause and cure for this disease. It could be said as a viral infection in a person whose immune system does not respond to central nervous system cause of some intense physical and psychological stress.

Possible symptoms of CFS are acute fatigue, headache, concentration problem, weakness, sore throat, headache, joint and muscle pain, irritability, depression, low-grade fever, and swollen lymph nodes and some intestinal problems.

Causes are to be confused in this case, because still doctors do not know much about this disease. Still some thought to be given to environmental allergies, low blood sugar, some yeast infections; stress and anemia could be the cause of this sickness.

Its not a life long sickness and can be cured with stress control, exercises, and some nutritional therapies. Their no as such cure for this disease but can be controlled by ones efforts, aromatherapy can help a lot in relieving this illness.

Aromatherapy for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

What Aromatherapy can do for it, well essential oils can not only reduce stress or improve immune system but also eliminate toxins, which might activate this fatigue. Apart from this Aromatherapy has a holistic approach to CFS.

Essential oils such as Basil, Bergamot, Chamomile, Geranium, Lavender, Lemon, Peppermint, Rosewood, Marjoram and Tea Tree that help in lifting mood, improve immune system, remove insomnia, relax muscle pain and other symptoms related to CFS.

Some of the blends for this infection; try out warm water bath with 3 drops of Lavender and 2 drops of Petitgarin, one can also use 1 or 2 drops of Frankincense.
